We, at Lone Star Heat Treating, have been at the forefront of technology and new processes since 1945. As we were the very first commercial heat treating company in the United States to gain ISO accreditation in 1993, we have also maintained a membership with MTI (Metals Treating Institute) since since 1962, and ASM (American Society for Metals) since 1949.
The Lone Star Heat Treating plant in Houston has the capacity to heat treat batches up to 25 feet long weighing 30,000 pounds in just one load, using polymer, oil, and water quenching capabilities.
We are continuously updating the service and quality in our works. In fact, we have recently added a new drilling department to the company, housed by a 10,500 square foot building that also includes a brand new lab. This new addition offers you more services to choose from, as Lone Star Heat Treating continues to work harder to serve you.
Our company has three metallurgists on site, available to assist customers with technical advice and specifications. Our computer system has real time work order tracking that enables us to provide you fast and reliable information on any job status. This system also provides electronic retrieval of inspecion and processing data for your order, so you can always be informed.
