Today 62 years after its inception Lone Star Heat Treating can perform a wide range of heat treating services from its headquarters located in Houston Texas. Along with its operations in Denver Colorado, Metal Treating and Research and its newest facility in Torrance California, Torrance Heat Treating Lone Star offers many solutions to your heat treating needs.

Lone Star has been at the forefront of technology and new processes since 1945 and was the first commercial heat treating company in the USA to gain ISO accreditation in 1993. Both our other facility’s in Denver and Torrance are also ISO accredited companies. We have been a member of MTI (Metals Treating Institute) since 1962, and ASM (American Society For Metals) since 1949.

The Lone Star plant In Houston has the capacity to batch heat treat up to 25’ long and 30,000lbs in one load with polymer, oil and water quench capability. Horizontal atmosphere furnaces, vertical furnaces, nitriding and an Induction heat treating are all services offered by Lone Star. We are constantly updating our facility's and have recently added a second continuous line furnace to our already successful in line operation. This second inline has increased our capacity with the ability to process Bar stock form 3" to 10", Tube stock from 3” to 11” up to 42’ long.

Lone Star has three Metallurgists on site available to assist customers with technical advice and specifications. Our computer system has real time work order tracking that enables us to provide customers faster information on job status. The system also provides electronic retrieval of all inspection and processing data for your order.
